Yup - that's rightaccording to The Futon Critic, new Heroes action figures will debut at Comic Con, which Dania will be attending! This is from the NBC Press Release:
NBC Universal Television, DVD, Music, and Consumer Products Group has again teamed with Mezco Toyz to introduce the fourth set of collectible figures based on the Emmy and Golden Globe nominated series "Heroes." Debuting at the annual Comic-Con International in San Diego, the fourth set will include five additional characters and will be available in specialty stores, major retail outlets and online retailers including NBCstore.com in early 2009.
The fourth set includes characters "Claire Bennet" (Hayden Panettiere), the heroine cheerleader with incredible recuperative powers, "Maya Herrera" (Dania Ramirez), a young woman who is plagued with a threatening ability, the villainous "Sylar," as "Gabriel Gray," (Zachary Quinto), "Ando Masahashi" (James Kyson Lee), the quiet Tokyo executive who embarks on wild adventures with his best friend "Hiro" and "Adam Monroe" (David Anders) who, like "Claire," has the ability to heal. Designed by Mezco Toyz' award-winning artists, the seven-inch scale figures feature highly detailed features and extremely accurate accessories.
"Maya" sports an outfit worn "on-the-run" in Mexico and comes with a "Wanted" poster, backpack and alternate head that is crying blackened tears.
So be on the lookout for these at the Heroes panel if you're attending the biggest comic convention in the states! Have looooooads of fun.
